Coach Scott Gallas graduated from Ranum High School in 1977 and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Colorado in 1981. After receiving several football honors from both schools, he signed a free agent contract for the Houston Oilers of the National Football League. From 1981 to 1984, after earning a teaching certificicate from Metropolitan State College, Coach Gallas was hired by then head Football Coach Dominic Capra to be the varsity offensive line coach at Northglenn High School. During his first year, the Norsemen won the school's first and only State Championship. In 1992 Coach Gallas was promoted to Head Coach for the Norse, and held this position until 2004.During his tenure as Head Coach the mighty Norse earned an overall record of 92-51, which is the best record in school's history. The Norsemen also finished second in the state in 1993 with a division record of 13-1. During his 12 years as the Head coach, the Norsemen were Front Range League Champions 6 times and made 9 state playoff appearances. Coach Gallas was voted the Rocky Mountain News "All Colorado Coach of the Year," in 1993 and Front Range Coach of the Year 5 times. Also during Coach Gallas's career at Northglenn, he earned a Masters degree in Physical Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Coach Gallas also enjoys his position as the head track coach, he has been involved in track and field at NGHS since 1985. He has been married to Pam for 27 years and they have two son's, Tyler and Justin.
Coach Vince Vieyra graduated from Crawford High School in Crawford Nebraska in 1983. Coach Vieyra attended the University of Nebraska Kearney where he played football. He earned his teaching degree from Metro State college, and in 1992 he earned his Master's degree in Psychology and Diversity from the University of Phoenix. Coach Vieyra has been teaching and coaching at NGHS since 1992. He was the head football coach in 2005 and 2006, he coordinated those offenses and has the only two quarterbacks in schools history to run and pass over 2000 total yards in a single season. Coach Vieyra is the Girls Head Track Coach. Coach Vieyra has been married to his beautiful wife Kelly for 23 years, and have three children, Tony 22, Betsy 20, and Nick 15. They are also proud grandparents of Emily. Coach Vieyra loves the outdoors, plays golf, hunts and fishes.>
Coach Sampson is in his 10th year of coaching football. He is beginning his fourth year as defensive coach(Ranum 2007, Westminster 2008) and 7th as a varsity coach. Coach Sampson is a Social Studies teacher at Northglenn High School, and he graduated from Ft Lewis college in 2002. He is also a Northglenn graduate from the Class of 1997. Coach Sampson is married to his wife Kristi and have a 2 year old son, Brody and have a one year old daughter Macey.
Coach Justin Gallas is a 2002 graduate from Northglenn High School. He attended Colorado School of Mines on a scholarship and was a two time All-American football player. Coach Gallas graduated in 2007 with a Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree. Coach Gallas played semi-pro indoor football with the colorado Ice from 2006 -2009. Coach Gallas has been coaching receivers at Northglenn for the past 4 Years. Coach Gallas was married this past July to his beauitful wife Jenna.

Coach Ernie Barrios grew up in Pueblo, and is now a youth corrections officer for the State of Colorado. He has been coaching for 9 years, 8 years at Northglenn, and 1 year Thornton High school. as both a player and a coach Coach Barrios has been affiliated with the game of football over 40 years. Coach Barrios is married to Gloria and they have 3 children Ryan, Shantel, and Dawnelle
